Access My Phone Manager and modify features

Summary

This article provides instructions on how to log into the My Phone Manager home portal. This site allows you to make changes to the settings on your phone such as call forwarding, caller ID, call blocking, etc.

To login to the My Phone Manager Portal, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the My Phone Manager page. *This will open the My Phone Manager webpage in a new tab/window.
  2. Enter your phone number in the Username field.
  3. Enter the password provided to you for this account. If you do not have one, please contact BendBroadband Customer Support at 541-382-5551 for assistance obtaining your MyPhoneManager web portal password.
  4. Once logged in, you will be prompted to change your password. Your new password must contain:
    • Eight characters
    • One numeric character
    • One uppercase letter
    • One lower case letter.
  5. Once your password is changed, feel free to browse the various options and make changes to your phone features.

Account disabled

We recently implemented new security precautions that require stronger passwords on the BendBroadband My Phone Manager web portal. When you first attempt to log in, you will receive this alert:

"As a security precaution, your account has been disabled. Please contact BendBroadband Customer Support at 541-382-5551 for assistance resetting your MyPhoneManager web portal password."

As directed in the alert, please give us a call and a friendly customer support representative will walk you through the password-reset process. We will ensure that your new password meets enhanced security guidelines. This process will only take a few minutes of your time.

Customer security is a priority and these precautions will help diminish the chances that your account is compromised.

Using the help function

On each page within the My Phone Manager, you will see a link labeled Help available. Once you click on the link, you will be directed to the help section for this portal.

Changing the My Phone Manager Password

  1. Click on Profile at the top menu
  2. Under the "Change Password" section you will be able to change two different passwords
    1. User Password - Resets password to access My Phone Manager Portal
    2. Voice Portal Passcode - Resets the passcode to access portal through *62

Using Time Schedules

In this section of the Profile you can create and manage specific time schedules that you may have such as a work schedule or an event schedule. To add a new time schedule, click "Add New Schedule" below the chart. Once you setup your schedules, you can utilize these in the following features:

  • Selective Call Acceptance
  • Selective Call Rejection
  • Call Forward Selective
  • Call Notify
  • Sequential Ring

Call Forwarding

All Call Forwarding functions can be found under the Calling Features page found in the menu at the top.

Call Forwarding Always

Call forwarding always will allow you to forward all of your incoming calls to a different number such as your office or cell phone.

  1. Select the radio button next to Call Forwarding Always to On
  2. Enter a phone number (full 10 digits) in which you want to forward your calls
  3. Click Apply and then Ok

Call Forwarding Busy

Call forwarding busy allows you to forward all your incoming calls to another phone if your phone is currently busy.

  1. Select the radio button next to Call Forwarding Busy to On
  2. Enter a phone number (full 10 digits) in which you want to forward your calls
  3. Click Apply and then Ok

Call Forwarding No Answer

Call forwarding No Answer allows you to forward all of your incoming calls to another number when you do not answer the phone. This differs from always by the phone ringing multiple times prior to the call being forwarded.

  1. Select the radio button next to Call Forwarding No Answer to On
  2. Enter a phone number (full 10 digits) in which you want to forward your calls
  3. Select the number of rings before the calls are forwarded
  4. Click Apply and then Ok

Call Forwarding Not Reachable - Important!

Call forwarding not reachable can allow you to forward all incoming calls to another number when your equipment is not accessible by our Telephone System. This will ensure if there are any network issues or power failures that you will still receive your incoming calls. This will not forward any calls unless the device is unable to connect at your location.

  1. Select the radio button next to Call Forwarding Not Reachable to On
  2. Enter a phone number (full 10 digits) in which you want to forward your calls
  3. Click Apply and then Ok

Call Waiting

Call Waiting allows you to receive another call while you are on the phone.

  1. To turn on, select the radio button next to Call Waiting to On

To Use: Call waiting is indicated by a double beep. To accept your second call, press the switch hook/ flash or talk button. Or, you can hang up the phone to end the current call and the incoming call will ring immediately.

Messaging (Voicemail)

Messaging can be found in the Calling Features page and gives the user full control & access to all voicemail functions including; number of rings, turning on or off, and more.

Turning the Voicemail On/Off

You can control whether you want the voicemail system to pick up the phone or not. This can be useful function when you want all your calls to go to an answering machine at the house. By default this is activated already for you.

  1. Under the "Calling Features" tab, click on Edit next to Voice Email Management
  2. Uncheck the following options:
    1. Send All Calls to Voice Mail
    2. Send Busy Calls to Voice Mail
    3. Send Unanswered Calls to Voice Mail
  3. Click Save at the bottom of the window.

Changing the number of rings

This function allows you to control the number of rings the caller will hear prior to getting to the individual’s voicemail.

  1. Go to the Messaging section under Calling Features
  2. To the right of Greetings, select the number of rings (2 -20) you want each caller to hear prior to going to voicemail.
  3. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Feature Access Codes

Many of the features that you can control directly from the My Phone Manager, you can also control some by dialing an Access Code with your phone.

To access the codes:

  1. Click on Utilities at the top
  2. Next, click on Feature Access Codes
