Manage User Accounts
Summary
This article provides instructions on how to manage your existing bendbroadband.com, bendcable.com, and chamberscable.com account user names. These user names may be used to access various parts of your BendBroadband online account, including TV Everywhere, Internet Usage, and webmail (if email functionality is part of your account).
Steps
- Click on My Account/Login at the top of any bendbroadband.com page and choose Manage Account.
- Login with the Primary User credentials for your account.
Primary Users are automatically assigned the Administrative Role, which gives you the rights to manage other users on the account.
If you are not logged in as a Primary User or have not been assigned an Administrative Role, you will only have access to manage the user account you logged in as. - Upon login you will see a welcome message and a menu with Manage Account options.

View Existing Account Usernames
Once you're logged into My Email Manager, Click Manage Users in the menu to see all users on your account.
Change Password for the Current User
- Once you're logged into My Email Manager, click Change Password in the menu.
- Complete all of the fields and click Update.
Note: Passwords must contain at least 8 characters including at least one number, one symbol, and both uppercase and lowercase letters. - If you need additional assistance, please contact Technical Support at 541-382-5551.
Change Password for Another User
- Once you're logged into My Email Manager, click Manage Users in the menu to see all users on your account.
- Click Edit next to the username with the password you would like to update.
- Select the reset password option.
- A random one-time use password will be generated and displayed on the screen.
- Log in to My Email Manager with the other username and the one-time password. Then, use the steps to Change the Password of the Current User to permanently change the password.

Note: Automatic notifications of account changes are Not sent to the users on your account. Therefore, you may want to communicate the changes you are making to the specific users.
Change Security Questions for the Current User
- Once you’re logged into My Email Manager, click Change Security Questions in the menu.

- Complete all of the fields and click Update.

- If you need additional assistance, please contact Technical Support at 541-382-5551.
Change Security Questions for Another User
- Once you're logged into My Email Manager, click Manage Users in the menu.

- Click Edit next to the username with the security questions you would like to update.

- Select the reset security questions option.

- A reset successfully message will be displayed.

- Note: The user will be prompted to select new questions and answers on their next login.

Remove User Account
- Once you're logged into My Email Manager, click Manage Users in the menu.

- Click Delete next to the username you would like to update.
Note: Deletion cannot be undone and will remove any email connected to the account. In case of accidental account deletion, contact Technical Support at 541-382-5551. The user you're deleting will not be notified of this change.

- A successfully delete message will appear.

Change Username for the Current User
- Once you're logged into My Email Manager, click Change Username in the menu.

- Complete all of the fields and click Update.

Change Username for Another User
- Once you’re logged into My Email Manager, click Manage Users in the menu.

- Click Edit next to the username you would like to change.

- Enter a new username and click Save at the bottom of the page.

Note: Automatic notifications of account changes are NOT sent to the users on your account. Therefore, you may want to communicate the changes you are making to the specific users.

Add/Remove Admin Status for a User
Users with Administrative Roles can manage other users on the account. In addition, users with Administrative access can set and modify TV Everywhere Parental Controls.
- Once you're logged into My Email Manager, click manage users in the menu.

- Click edit next to the username you would like to update.

- Scroll down to the Roles section.

- Select Yes or No to change the current status and click save at the bottom.
- Note: Automatic notifications of account changes are not sent to the users on your account. Therefore, you may want to communicate the changes you are making to the specific users.

Add/Remove Email for a User
- Once you're logged into My Email Manager, click manage users in the menu.

- Click edit next to the username you would like to update.

- Scroll down to the Email section.

- Select Yes or No to change the status and click save at the bottom.
- If Yes is selected you will be prompted to enter a Display Name for use when sending emails through Webmail. Note: Up to 10 users with email are allowed per BendBroadband account.
- Note: Automatic notifications of account changes are not sent to the users on your account. Therefore, you may want to communicate the changes you are making to the specific users.
