Setup your email on Windows Phone 8
This article provides instructions for setting up your BendBroadband email on a smart phone running Windows Phone 8.
From you home screen select the mail tile:
From the inbox, select options in the bottom right corner:
Select "add email account" from the list:
Select "advanced setup" from the list:
Enter in your BendBroadband email address and password in the fields, then tap next:
Select "Internet email":
Enter an account name and your name. Set the incoming mail server to "pop-server.bendbroadband.com:110", account type to POP3 and enter your full email address for the user name.
Scroll down and enter your BendBroadband email password and enter "smtp-server.bendbroadband.com:25"* for the outgoing server.
Check "Outgoing server requires authentication" , "use same user name and password for sending mail" and make sure that "Require SSL"* are unchecked for both incoming and outgoing. The remaining settings are optional. Tap sign in:
Congratulations! Your email is setup.
* If you have trouble sending email with these settings, you may also use smtp-server.bendbroadband.com:465 and check "Require SSL for outgoing email".
